Small is beautiful to artist Dalton Ghetti. He had always been interested with carving and decided to challenge himself by trying to make things as small as possible. At first he experimented with different kinds of medium like chalk, in the end he decided to decided to carve into the graphite of a pencil. All of his work is done on pencil stubs, the ones we throw away because they’re too short to be of much use. Each piece of art takes months, if not years to make. None of Dalton Ghetti’s pencil art is for sale. He does it mostly for himself and his art comes from his heart. He wants to keep it that way.
