With Andy’s work, you won’t have to wonder what he looks like. He paints his face and takes a picture of it. Sounds simple enough doesn’t it? His brilliance slowly dawns on you when you realize that he has to paint his own face using a mirror with representations of paintings by iconic painters like Warhol, Magritte, Van Gogh, and Pollock. Conceptual photography like this comes but once in a generation.
