Handmade Letters by Tien Min Liao
Remember when you were a kid and used to draw faces in your fingers to amuse yourself while the teacher drones on? Well, Tien Min Liao took that concept not just a step, but a leap farther. Her series Handmade type illustrates the transformation of lowercase letters into capital letters with ink-stained hands. Even the italicized form of the letters can be formed. Tien Min Liao was born in Taiwan and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising at National Chengchi University.
