Yoga Joes by Dan Abramson

Dan Abramson is a devoted yoga practitioner. He is also the creative mind behind Yoga Joes. He took the ubiquitous green plastic soldiers and gave each of them a distinctive yoga pose, something I don’t think anyone else has ever thought of doing before. I mean, really, military figures and yoga.

He said: “I made Yoga Joes in the spirit of getting more people to try yoga. I’m hoping people pass them around as an inexpensive gift to friends and loved ones, who might like to give it a shot. Plus, I hope yoga fans display them proudly in their homes, offices, and studios. Also, I hope people find them funny as hell.”

That we do Dan, that we do.

The project is currently on Kickstarter (if you want to grab one for yourself). Dan also has a hot pink version of the meditative military men for those of you who like…pink.
