Alexander Harding is a Connecticut-based photographer who has been capturing these beautiful shots of natural light pouring through windows. The series, called Visible Light, highlight the dense, ethereal rays of sunshine as it comes in through windows and makes wooden tables seem to glow. In some of his shots, the beams of light seem so thick, you could cut it with a knife. The quality of the light in this series changes according to the time of day and season in which the image was taken. According to Harding, this series was inspired by the works of James Turrel, another whiz at capturing and creating large light installations.
