Sarah Martinet’s aerial pictures of Iceland will have most netizens screaming “FAAAKE!”. They look like something our of a Tolkien or George R. R. Martin novel. Sweeping vistas of seemingly untouched land dotted here and there by snow and crisscrossed by brilliantly blue rivers and streams. One can almost imagine the battle for middle Earth happening right in the middle of the shot. The shots were taken from an open-window airplane as it zoomed over the Icelandic countryside.
