Made by former RIM employee Taylor Jones, Dear Photograph lets you unravel the beauty of a picture that captures the essence of the past and present times. Named by TIME Magazine as one of the 10 best sites, Dear Photograph receives about 20,000 hits a day.

The idea was made while Taylor was at his family’s place in Ontario, Canada when his mother was flipping through an old photo album and saw his brother sitting on the same spot as he was in the old photo. Taylor saw the opportunity to create something beautiful and quickly grabbed his camera, lined the photo exactly on the spot and clicked away. He posted them on the blog and more photos, and since then, the website has given him the opportunity to quit his job. Pretty good story, right? Well, the pictures tell a lot more. Take a look below.
