Big Hero Six designer combines characters with My Neighbor Totoro

Probably one of the Disney’s latest hits in late 2014 was Big Hero Six. It’s really cute to see a huge inflatable move and do stuff like Baymax.

Recently though, Big Hero Six’s creator: Jin Kim, blew up the Twitterverse with an illustration combining Big Hero Six characters with one of Japan’s most-loved anime: My Neighbor Totoro, by Studio Ghibli.

See the first photo below. The photo was reportedly released in November 2014 but was only discovered recently due to this tweet. Jin Kim’s other works and character design Tumblr account, check out the succeeding photos for the character studies he made for Big Hero Six.
