Masters of Disguise by Graham McGeorge
Going deep into a wild and natural environment is a thrilling experience, and can also be a surprise.
Just ask photographer Graham McGeorge about his travels through the Okefenokee Swamp in Southern Georgia. In his award-winning series of photos titled “Masters of Disguise,” Graham captures rare moments of owls perched in broad daylight (for those of you who don’t know, owls are nocturnal creatures).
Finding the subject and spending several hours just to get the perfect shot is a lot of work, but apparently it is worth it.
What was Graham’s big surprise? He got to photograph the owl’s baby chicks, too!
